New college life

Thank God i moved to Inti to do Mass Communication course=) It is not anything to regret about, which I am totally happy with what I chose. I get to meet new people, some familiar faces, some old friends as well. It is the 3rd week of my semester, which this is a short semester, which includes that I still have another 4 weeks to go till my finals. Decided to blog about some of my crazy, so called paying attention, funny, acting cute classmates. Well, they are really nice people=) This is what we do in class all the time. Okay so on Friday night we went to Genting to get some fresh air and also to lepak there as usual. So we reached there bout 4 in the morning, headed to the 24hours food court, then changed place to Old Town Kopitiam. Just came back from laundry's[Michelle's farewell]. Will upload the pictures once Miss Khoo uploads the pictures, then I'll steal it. Okay back to the topic, am sorry for delaying the pictures and also the Cameron post when it was a week ago lol.

Cameron was awesome I can say. Just that we wish there were like a few more people like Aaron, Adrian, Chua to join us up there. Then the trip wouold be even better and much more fun lol. Well, basically the 1st night, we reached about 9pm on wednesday. Checked into the bungalow, and started the fire to burn some meats lol[bbq]. Then drank a little the first night. Chit chat a little with them, listen to some songs, cook and all. But it was a bit disappointing because the 1st night everyone slept kinda early lol.

The 2nd day was better. We woke up about 11 I think am not sure, had some breakfast where Nazrin, Siva and Vivien cooked. Then after that chilled outside at the stone garden for awhile then we got ready to go out for awhile. Then the girls put some make up on Joe Win and I got slammed by all of them. Then headed to the Boh Tea Cafe or something where you can walk up 174 meters up the hill to see the view of Camerons. After walking 174 meter up and down, chilled at the cafe. Ordered 2 pots of tea and started chit chatting, making fun on Devon, some of us got it as well, jokes. After that headed home to start cooking the steamboat and also bbq-ing. Everyone drank that night, played some card games. Oh and Devon puked in the toilet like a lot. Slept for awhile about 10 plus and woke up about 1. Then joined the fun for awhile and also eat. Then headed to bed about 5 in the morning lol.

The last day, checked out about 12.30 from the bungalow, helped the house owner with carrying his washing machine into the garage. Then went and pump petrol, have lunch in KFC's. After that headed to the strawberry shop nearby to get some strawberries because the Megats need to get those for their grandmother. Then headed for some scone if thats how u spell it. Devon spent us because the night before he was supposed to clean up but he didn't of course because he went and sleep-.- which cause us to pay the housekeeper RM50. Then played Kurap in the cafe there and from now on, Devon is known as the Kurap for life HAHA. Then headed to the waterfall for awhile, took some pictures and then headed home.

Hahas there are a lot to tell about Camerons but too lazy to type it all out. Very very sleepy already lol. Anyways, heading to bed and the pictures are below. Have fun viewing them, and will upload the Manchaster United in Bukit Jalil the next post! Ta's! And ps: its not in order as in the pictures. Sorry!

Sorry for not updating my blog these days people, well this post shall be a comeback for me to update my blog more often. Okay, I really really hope to watch this movie because look at the trailer people, the trailer itself is already exciting. The desert day

Yesterday was kinda fun and great i suppose. Woke up about 9.45am, went online awhile, saw Choy online, he was still at home lol. Went and get ready for church, left home about 10.30, reached about 10.45 if I'm not mistaken. Then chilled at the church cafe for awhile with Aaron, Adrian, Li Huay, Alvin and the rest. So went up for service to meet up with Choy and his wife aka Rachel lol. After church went to O&S for lunch while waiting for Aaron to finish his prayers. After that went and pick him up, then fetched Sam Lim San Three[Joshua Lim lol!] home, fetched Mandy from her place then met up with the rest at Pei Jun's place. Picked her and Jasmine, headed to Kepong for desert thanks to Choy's idea la. Went to have no idea what is the shop name, but the drinks and deserts there kinda nice. Then Wai Kit came awhile after we reached. Then headed to the next desert shop, Honeymoon if I'm not mistaken. As usual, its Choy's idea of desert twice lol. Then chilled there for awhile then fetched Pei Jun and Ivory back home. After that me, Adrian, Aaron and Mandy headed for dinner aka Bak Kut Teh in Oldtown.

I was being such a nice friend lol, fetched Mindy and Jeswena from Kotaraya, Pudu Bus Station. While we were waiting for them, we went over to St.John High school, which were Aaron and Adrian's old school. Babi I didn't know that school was more than 100 years old and the best part was it used to be a hospital! Freak the shit out of me and Aaron asked me to walk in with him for some tour guide shit la lol. He told me that at night, the cleaner will go to the corner of the pillar or something that separates each block of the building, to talk to things aka ghosts or spirit whatever you people call it. That room is locked with not only a lock, but a few locks he said. Scary crap, then suddenly got a bat that flew and almost knocked our heads. While we were in the school, Adrian accompanied Mandy in the car because she was soooooo scared hahaha! Chicken giler weih Mandy. Dahlah nama Mandy, not man also lol. After the tour, went to Puduraya and fetch the girls up. Then came back to Subang, lepak at Mindy's awhile, fetched the brothers home and then headed home.

Nowadays i sleep damm the early, which is a good thing lol! Except for today because I fell asleep about 6 plus and woke up about 11 plus. Skipped futsal lol and Siva was at my place doing his homework and stone lol. Sorry Siva Miva will repay you soon I hope lol.

Lol I have no idea on what to blog about now, but at least I do I guess? Hehe well, its 10.50, just woke up not long ago. Gonna go get ready now and then head to church. Well that is all I guess and oh ya I just logged in to photobucket, because they said my account was inactive for like more than 90 days, I don't even remember my user ID and password lol. Trust is the most important part of the relationship. If there is no trust, then what's the point of getting together in the first place? That is all I wanna say to you readers. Anyways I'm heading out for my lunch/teatime/dinner/supper now. And before I leave, I just wanna wish you all luck the competing team, all the best in everything and do bring back the title and make us proud=) Take care there and enjoy the routine okayyy! Life is nothing but full of challenges and also more surprises to come. I have no idea why am I posting about this, but I guess it is because I just realized that? LOL its either getting more and more meaningful, or it will get worse day by day.

Most people change, whether for the best or the worse. Like you meet your friends from primary, secondary, college, then university. Some of them will stay local and study, some will leave for overseas and study. Every path they choose, will lead them to their own future. Some will just totally forget about you not important in their life once they find new friends and all. Thats what i realized that happened to me and also my friends. I hope the friendship I have now with my close friends will last till the day we all die. I wish them luck in whatever path they choose. Lol say till I gonna die anytime soon-.-

Okay screw the emotional post, CAMERON HIGHLANDS BABY! Can't wait till next wednesday the 15th. I said alright wohooooo!=D Its time for me to chill around and not think so much about my life but to enjoy the trip with my close friends who are always there for me. I really hope that this trip will be the most relaxing, enjoyable and meaningful journey.

And dammit people, I feel like a loser because I haven't even watch Transformers 2, Terminator, Ice Age[dunno whether is it nice or not lol] and other movies. Damn, I really need to get back on track on sleeping earlier, wake up earlier like a normal life. Been waking up late and sleeping late for quite some time already I can say.

Well, I'll be joining back Cheer this month, starting with gym classes on sundays. And also would like to wish the Charm people, who are gonna compete in Australia soon which is like this week I have no idea which day. But they are leaving on wednesday. Guys, do your best alright just have fun during the routine, bring the title home. Don't stress out so much and everything will go smooth=)

Congratulations on winning the EPL Cup 2008/2009. So far on the transfer this coming season, Antonio Valencia will replace the leaving of Christiano Ronaldo. who is leaving to Real Madrid with the transfer of 80mil And also, Carlos Tevez is leaving Man Utd to Man City this coming season and blames Alex Furgeson for their failure to defend the Champions League title. Wayne Rooney vows that he will replace both Ronaldo and Tevez to bring Man Utd to the next level. Edwin Van Der Sar, who will retire playing for Man Utd at the end of this coming season. Well that is all I know so far about Man Utd. Hope that they will sign more good players that will lead them to the top table this coming season! Glory glory Man Utd!

YAY! Another movie given by NuffNang and the best part is, we get to watch it 2 days before the screening date!=D

I have no idea whether can I relate myself with the movie or not. Guess so cause the last time I have friends who calls me a player aka playboy, because as what they say, I am always with a bunch of girls. Which is partly true, partly not I guess lol.

As they say I am always with girlssssss, hanging out with them yam cha-ing, clubbing and all. As I hope if this is true, when I do have a girlfriend, I reallly hope that she will understand that she is the one for me and the girls i hangout with, they're just my close girlfriends.

If I am not loyal to my future girlfriend, maybe there will be ghosts that will change and guide me? Or more like they will scare me lol!

But seriously, I have a feeling that this movie will turn out to be a great and funny movie. So I can't wait till the movie is released!=)

Happy birthday to the Miss Lanci aka FF, Evelynn Lim=) Basically knew her since High School, but never really know her till College time. Then currently she is like forgetting about us, as in me, Chua, Aaron, Megat, Devon. But its okay FF, this post is for you!=)

Then it was Sher Teng's birthday as well=) on Saturday night. Had a surprise party for her in her Condo located in Mont Kiara. It was basically damm fun and its been awhile since I've been to a bbq party. Here is a video of her blowing, cutting cake and also cake smashed on her face=p

And of course, Happy Birthday to my so called wife during college foundation, Amirah Diyana=) Went to Ampang, opposite Castle to celebrate her birthday in a small group which were me, Joanna, Siva, Rafique, Shaik and of course the birthday girl. Met Shang Hong and Germaine there as well. Basically this is what we did there and chit chat as well=)

The day started when I woke up about 10 in the morning cause I got a day off. Then I remembered that I needed to bank in to Eugene Foo, some shop blogger dude RM30 today. Lol, then ngam ngam I was talking to Aaron Maron online, so he offered me transport to bank it in today. So sweet of him right awwww [a.k.a Gay shit fellaxD] So he came around 11 plus 12, headed to Taipan first to bank in. First CIMB, then Maybank. After everything kao tim, we headed to The Summit to get my pay cheque. We lepak-ed till 2 plus chilling there, buy some DVD's and had lunch there. Basically him having lunch not me. Went pai nin in Yi Wen's house and after that Euvin's house as well. Hahas went buat kecoh in both of their houses. Showing off with the Ferarri and all most of the time=p. Basically went a lot of places during CNY, even clubbing and also T-Bun for Left 4 Dead. Will post up the Poppy pictures and more about Left 4 Dead later.

So this year's Chinese New year did some shopping for new clothes. Went and shop around in One U, Bangsar, Pyramid and Adidas Warehouse Sales. Bought jeans, some boxers, socks, shirts and shorts.

Happy New Year people! And thanks for those who wished me through facebook, msn, friendster[ Which i dunno whether got or not because I don't use it anymore] and SMSes. Really appreciate it. Well went to Curve again, to meet up with Aaron, the 2 Joshuas, Malcolm, Jasmine, Pei Jun and the rest. Met a lot of my old friends there as well. Then later Raf and the gang came along. As well as Kah Weng and Darius. So basically hangout in 'Just Desert' for awhile then headed to Empress Cafe. And I didn't know that the beer there is freaking expensive. Which cost RM66 a bucket-.- Crazyyyyyy! So decided to order a bucket just to show that we ordered something, then me and Aaron headed to 7-eleven to buy 15 bottles of beers!=D Then drank till 12+ then headed to Laundry's awhile to see Cai Jin, Kim, Ben, Ling, Nizam and the rest. Saw Adie there and its been awhile since I last saw him. And it was Ben's birthday so yeah. Chilled there then headed to Piccadilly's to have another yam cha session. Then we cracked hell a lot of jokes thanks to Malcolm. Then headed back to get some rest cause the next few hours am going to Genting. So thats all people for now. Have fun reading!=)

Christmas Eve in Curve

So it all started that Raf aka the bitch said that he is going to Curve or Pyramid most probably to celebrate Christmas Eve. So decided to join him and the rest which are Shamin, Ali and Amirah. And of course the 2 bitches[ Me and Raf]. Then so I drove there and it took us about 45 mins to get there just because of the jam even though we left at 8pm. Parked the car then we headed to the cinema to get some midnight movie tickets. All agreed to watch Yes Man. Well its seriously a very good movie!

Then after that met Mel awhile in Cineleisure to say hi when we were supposed to go hangout and didn't know she had to go home early. Then later on we chilled at Amber Shop behind Empress for some shisha session. Chilled there till 11.45pm++ and saw Cheryl, Jess, Samantha and the rest. Then before that we bought the snow spray thingi like 4 bottles each of us. Then before the countdown, all our bottles finished lol. So went and watch the movie and after that headed to Mardigra's awhile to see how's everything there. Then headed to Centerpoint to yam cha awhile. After that headed home. An early morning breakfast with the Mitch and the 'Girlfriend'. Well I went over to Aaron's house around 3 plus in the morning if I'm not mistaken. That time Li yen was already there so yeah stayed over his place, played Winning 11 awhile and I suck in it weih, too used to Fifa already. Then we didn't know time pass so fast and it was like what, 6.30 in the morning already. So the 3 of us were like quite hungry, so decided to go over to MCD's in SS15. Then the 'Girlfriend' said that she wanna spend me for breakfast la. Cause that time I didn't bring my wallet. So then later when we ordered, the next thing you know, she also takda money-.- Then me and Aaron were like OMG! This is bad, thanks god Aaron had money if not we were so dead. Basically during the breakfast session, I was being all crazy and going nuts cause I haven't been sleeping since like the last night so yeah. Then after the breakfast session, I went to Celeb Fitness to do some workout. I had no idea why was I so semangat of going to gym like around 9am. And I haven't slept since then so yeah.

Since Sunday night I haven't been sleeping cause on Monday morning which was yesterday, I had a shooting for Ribena. It was about some cheerleading series which is gonna come out soon I think, maybe in a few months time?=) Well then we met up at 6.45am in my house, which was quite early right. Yee Ming, Estee, Jon, Li Yen, Cheng Choo, and U-Sern met up at my place. Then Marcus lead the way to the place where we are supposed to have our shooting, which was kinda near Ampang, Hulu Klang. Then later Marcus went for his exam which starts at 9.30am. Then our shooting ended late which was around 10.30pm. Quite the late huh peeps. It was so tiring and all but then we actually had fun I guess but well I had fun. I get to meet up with new people and guess what, I met my old schoolmates there as well=) Well after the whole shooting ended, Marcus spent us dinner aka supper in Wong Kok, SS2.

Its a day to remember. Where all my college friends gathered together to party on my birthday and so as Darius' birthday=) It was at Decanters, Sri Hartamas. Hahas whatever nevermind basically Darius was the man of the match=p In other words, he died after drinking a cup of Graveyard. LOL! After that my Shisha friends came as well, thats when i started to die and get drunk. Downed 8-10 cups of beer, a shot of Flaming and a big bottle of Stout. Then went and find Jon and Li Yen after that. I was like dying cause of the drinks, then when I was on my way home, I stopped at the side of the road awhile to puke lol. Then flew back to Asia Cafe, FTZ to see the other 2. They took cared of me when I was drunk though but but, they were too busy playing with TD most of the time.

It is only a matter of waiting for California and Alaska now -- and watch the Obama speech in Chicago, which is the place to be tonight! People there are already going crazy and fainting, I hope they have enough ambulances on standby there!

BBC finally calls it, Obama's projected lead is 297 to 145. A terrible day for McCain. I do not like his policies, I do not like his party -- but he is a decent man, he fought it to the end, and I am almost sad for him. I am also quite interested on whether he will make a speech in the end, and what he will say about the way the election went.

I am calling it. If it is true that Obama will win Ohio, and that the abortion propositions aren't flying as much as expected (MSNBC), then I am calling this election squarely for Obama.

MSNBC gives Obama a hefty lead, with 207 to 135. Even Fox is calling New Mexico and Montana for Obama.

Might just be time to start preparing for the celebration -- but remember, the next President will have so much to deal with, that I would be surprised that the winning party today will manage to win again in 4 years.

Anyway, MSNBC just called Ohio for Obama. However, keep cool: this is only after 18% reporting. I think they are calling this wing state too early, to be honest.

The more I think about it, the more I think that McCain was the sacrificial animal for the Republican Party in this election campaign.

Pennsylvania keeps going Democrat, while you need to keep your eyes on Florida, as McCain is getting closer.

In the meantime, victory is being projected in North Carolina... for the Democratic Senate seat. A 60:40 majority for Democrats in the Senate is becoming more and more likely.

For now there isn't much more to say, apart form the fact that Pennsylvania is the big news for now. We are waiting for Colorado and New Mexico... it is going to take time.

Also, NBC just called Indiana for McCain.

Virginia might just go to McCain: with 22% of reporting done, the Republican candidate leads by 56.6% to 42.5% for Obama. I say, watch Florida: with 20% reporting, Obama is leading there, 54.4% to 44.9%. Mississippi is too close to call according to MSNBC. The Democrats are trying to pick up the majority in the Senate, and they are also looking at New Mexico and Colorado -- so let's see what happens there later on. All these states are way West, so right now most of this is purely speculation.

MSNBC says that Obama's dead grandmother's absentee ballot will be counted. Well, as Messier De Lapalisse would say... she was alive right before she was dead (duh).

Things are still very confusing. MSNBC reports that this still looks like the status quo from Bush-Kerry 2004. On the other hand, it has been reported that Pennsylvania and New Hampshire went to Obama. However...here is the most recent update for the Electoral College count: 103 to 34 for Obama.

The first results are now in, although most of the places where the polls just closed are too close or too early to call. At this point in time, Vermont went to the Democrats and Kentucky to the Republicans, with the current partial Electoral College count at 8 to 3 for John McCain. There are partial results for Maine, New Hampshire, Indiana, Virginia, Georgia and Florida. North Carolina is too close to call, and it is the same for Ohio and West Virginia.

I have been setting up my Twitter account, as you might have noticed. Now you can follow me there as well, although I will not be continuously updating today, as I am already blogging. I am still not very familiar with the whole Twitter platform, but I hope I will pick it up soon, it does look like a very neat tool.

In the meantime, while still waiting for the result for poll stations in the states mentioned above... I was looking at the distribution of campaign funding. This map is very useful to get an overview of that -- it is amazing to see how much Obama managed to raise over the course of the campaign. Possibly the very heated Democratic primaries gave him a head start with the fundraising in a way we haven't really seen before. Also, his focus on small individual donations gathered through the internet might have made a significant difference with past strategies.

The first polls will start closing at around 7 PM EST. In the meantime, there isn't much to talk about... apart from more problems at the poll. So I would like to talk about something else which nobody has really been talking about.

I would just like you to stop for a moment, and wonder what the next President of the United States, no matter who he is, will have to face: two wars abroad, worsening relations with countries in the Middle East (excluding Israel), a bad rep abroad... and one of the biggest public debts I have ever seen -- about $10.5 trillion!

This means that the next President, if he wants to even stop the debt from growing at this exorbitant pace, will have to seriously tighten the US' belt in the very first months of his presidency. The Iraq War is unlikely to end, one way or another, before 2011; which means, public expenditure of other kinds will need to take a rough cut. I doubt that the new President will be able to work right away on health care and energy independence, although those are two big items on the bill.

So what I am observing is the Republican Party dumping all the mess created by the Bush administration on either a Democrat, or a relatively unknown Republican - in this way, the Republican establishment can start pointing fingers and whining very soon, and aim at winning the next election in 4 years, basically maintaining a solid control on Washington either way.

Call me pessimist, but no matter how good the intentions of the next President are, they will need to deal with those who will ultimately decide whether to pass their laws or not - the special-interest-funded Congress and Senate.

People in America are coming out in record numbers -- 130 million people are expected to cast their ballots today. Of course, a higher turnout, and the huge variety of ballots being used, as well as the mix of paper and electronic voting techniques are creating a bit of a mess at some polling stations. This is adding to the backlog created by the high turnout, with some people reportedly lining up for up to 6 hours to cast their vote! I suggest the US get their act together and standardize their voting method, especially with propositions popping up together with federal elections at the same time and confusing people.

Moreover, the number of provisional ballots seems to be increasing as problems keep happening. It does look like things are not gonna get clear that soon, unless one of the sides wins by a landslide...

Back to it -- even though my lunch isn't even fully cooked yet! Some of the polls are closing soon on the East Coast. Here are the polls that will be closing very soon: Kentucky, Georgia, South Carolina, West Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama, Connecticut, Washington DC... keep your eyes on West Virginia and North Carolina, they will be able to give us a sense of what is going on, and what could possibly happen later on. The BBC has also put up a map where they will keep count of Electoral College votes going to Obama and McCain. In the meantime, McCain is continuing his campaign in Colorado.

Voting "situation" in Ohio which could give trouble later on -- people who opt to vote using a paper ballot are being directed to give "provisional ballots". These ballots are not necessarily counted at the end of the election!!! Why is this being done?? And by the way, Ohio is one of the key swing states -- McCain needs to get this one, if he wants any hope of snatching the presidency.

McCain in Colorado says "I will protect your Medicare", and "we will invest in any energy alternative", including "safe nuclear power, and off-shore drilling...when I am President, we will drill our shore, and we will drill now!" And of course, "drill baby drill... and we will, my friends". He is taking the old line of the maverick -- he has tried to change Washington, was not elected Miss Congeniality there for it, and he will not need to learn on the job. "I'd rather lose an election than lose a war... today [...] we are succeeding in Iraq, we will succeed in Afghanistan, and when I am president our troops will come home with honor and in victory, not in defeat".

McCain has been uninterruptedly talking for so much he is losing his voice. He says, "fight for what is right for America". Even his audience sounds tired -- the cheer him on, but they seem try to shout as much as he is. I give it to him, it is Election Day, and he is still going at it... together with his 96-year-old mother!

MSNBC calls him "vintage John McCain" and that they could "put this among one of the top speeches in his campaign" and that he should have done this a month ago. I have my doubts -- he sounds very tired of all this, and holding on to whatever strength he has left to keep going for another day.

Some piece of news you might not get from the mainstream media... Twitter has put up a magical voter map. You can send in your vote report via Twitter, and also let people know if you had issues at the polling station. Do you want to see the map? Check it out! You can also use the site to get updated on the highest wait time reported across the country.

This is an interesting experiment not only for Americans, because it signals a fundamental shift in the use of "non-tradtional" media in spreading ideas usually relegated to the sphere of the traditional. YouTube, blogs, and now Twitter are playing a role that, although we have never seen so prominent in the past, we can expect to play an important role for such events in the future.

Some of the traditional media are adapting, of course, broadcasting for free on the internet, or running live blogs -- check out the BBC, they are also live-blogging the election, and including messages coming from their audience. In fact... talking about that, I just found out that the BBC is also following the election on Twitter !?!

I am following MSNBC right now, and they are discussing the Bradley Effect, and supporting the view that race might, after all, be less important than expected, as the major problems that the future President will have to face, most importantly the economic crisis, is shifting people's attention towards these issues (and away from race).

It might be so... but from what I have heard, America still has a long way to go to reach full equality in terms of opportunity, socially and economically, between the white majority and all other racial minorities, but especially African Americans. But let's see, it might be revealing not just for America, but also for the rest of the Western world, to see Obama become president. After all, I can dream the day when a black man will be President in any of the Southern-European countries...

Well I just stole the pictures from Aaron's blog. Actually we wanted to celebrate his birthday at some place in PJ near Digital Mall, but ended up Kenny suggested that we celebrate it in his place so ended up thats what we did. Me, Kenny and Darius went over to Kenny's place first while Aaron, Mikhel, and Joel went and pick Kah Weng and Li Min up from dunno where also. And also they went and buy cokes and ice. Then they came and we started drinking 10 minutes after everything was settled. Halfway Kah Weng fetched Li Min back cause he scared she was so bored and all. What a lie la, more like he wanna spend some lonely time with her somewherexD. So we continue drinking and drinking, but guess what, some people anti social, play PSP, play laptop, read comic, sms-ing and all. Hahas well anyways time to post up the pictures.
